Droxford Junior School is currently undergoing a due diligence process in order to convert to academy status.  The governors have formally ratified the proposal to join Winchseter University Academy Trust (UNIWAT) schools.

The school have started to consult with staff and parents with the intention to start as UNIWAT academy school, September 2025.
