We are looking to appoint a conscientious, enthusiastic person who works effectively in a team to make a real impact on the progress and attainment of children with special educational needs. The role will entail supporting and challenging children in their learning, working with individuals and small groups. There will also be the option to take a class during PPA one day a week. Being flexible, calm, creative, positive and determined are all important to the role.
The successful candidate will have practical knowledge and familiarity of the LSA role and ideally experience at HLTA / NVQ3 level but training will be provided. Maths and English to GCSE level or equivalent is essential.
